Crossing Generations – The Art Exhibition

May 18th, 2017

5 p.m – 8 p.m

May 18, 2017

Please join us at the opening reception of Crossing Generations, an art exhibition featuring the work of Shadow Creek High School Advanced Placement Studio Art students, Mary Liga, Ever Gutierrez, .Destiny Juarez and Lina Sylejmani. This exhibit is the culmination of a year’s hard work and dedication. Under the direction of art teacher, Courtney Werden, each student produced a body of work and has submitted those to the College Board.

In addition to the exhibit, students will share their knowledge with Tuscany Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center residents. Students will guide residents in the creation of an original artwork, which will then be exhibited alongside the students’ work. This partnership between Tuscany Village and the Shadow Creek High School Art Department is an incredible opportunity for inter-generational communication and collaboration. We are thrilled to share this experience with the public. You will also have the opportunity to purchase student art at the exhibition.
